Help Build a More Age-Friendly Richmond County

Strong communities are built by people who care about one another. Whether you are an older adult, family member, volunteer, community organization, business, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, there is a place for you with the Seniors Take Action Coalition.

Getting involved can be as simple as attending an event, sharing an idea, completing a survey, volunteering your time, or helping us spread the word. Every contribution helps us create communities where older adults can remain active, connected, independent, and valued.

Volunteer With Us

Our volunteers bring their time, experience, skills, and enthusiasm to the Coalition's work. There are opportunities to help with community events, outreach, educational activities, communications, special projects, and other initiatives throughout Richmond County.

Whether you can help regularly or only occasionally, we'd be happy to hear from you.

Share Your Voice

One of the most important ways to get involved is simply to tell us what's important to you.

We want to hear directly from older adults about the opportunities and challenges they experience in their communities. Your ideas and experiences can help identify emerging needs, guide our priorities, and strengthen our advocacy.

If there's something that could make your community a better place to age, tell us about it.

Attend & Participate

Our events and activities are opportunities to learn, connect with others, discover resources, and participate in your community.

Check our Community Calendar to find upcoming events, workshops, meetings, social activities, and other opportunities happening throughout Richmond County.

And don't forget to sign up for our newsletter and our Information Communiqué, (Coming soon), to have news, resources, events, and updates delivered directly to you.

Organizations & Community Partners

Are you part of a seniors' club, community organization, service provider, healthcare organization, business, or government agency?

We welcome opportunities to work together. Partnerships allow us to share resources and knowledge, reach more people, and find practical solutions to issues affecting older adults.

If your organization has an idea for a project, event, educational opportunity, or partnership, we'd love to start a conversation.

Stay Connected

There are many ways to be part of the Seniors Take Action Coalition—you don't need to make a major commitment to make a difference.

Attend. Volunteer. Share your voice. Partner with us. Stay informed.

However you choose to participate, your involvement helps us continue building a Richmond County where older adults are heard, supported, connected, and able to thrive.
